Karma will find you.....
💚🌿🌎......We consider everywhere is presence of God and God made us and this earth then why don't you take responsibility and show devotion in keeping it clean and think like there is also God, there is also God in birds, animals, all living things , so we should protect it for our future generations and teach them about nature.

Before you call Dalia’s “bad for the community” because you don’t like how loudly we speak, try putting yourself in our shoes.
Imagine choosing to take home LESS money because doing things the right way costs more.
Better farms cost more. Organic ingredients cost more. Better animal welfare costs more. Better oils cost more. Real sourcing costs more.
We willingly pay that price and keep our prices accessible because we believe these words should actually MEAN something.
Now imagine watching businesses cut those costs, take home more money, and still use the same words:
Sustainable. Local. Healthy. Humane. Community. Quality.
They get the marketing without making the sacrifice.
So before skipping everything we’re saying because our delivery makes you uncomfortable, try fighting for something real while everyone around you is rewarded for caring less.
Try taking home less so farmers can get more.
Try sacrificing your own margins so your customers can afford better food.
Try refusing to stay quiet while businesses doing less get celebrated for doing more.
Then tell us we don’t care about our community.
Dalia’s isn’t perfect. But we’re willing to sacrifice for what we believe food SHOULD be.
We’re not fighting against our community.
We’re taking home less to fight FOR it. #realimpact #sustainability #eatforgood #supportlocal #realfood

Dalia’s is bigger than selling restaurant food. We’re trying to change how people ACCESS real food.
We’re starting a new initiative where you can pre order organic produce by the pound through Dalia’s and get higher quality ingredients at prices designed to beat what you’re paying at the grocery store.
Why?
Because if we can use our buying power and relationships to save our community money while connecting more people to better food systems, why wouldn’t we?
Other restaurants can play the little game of “shut up and sell your food.”
We’re interested in the BIG picture.
Better food standards. Better sourcing. More support for real farms. Lower prices for our community.
We don’t just want to sell you a meal. We want to help build a better food system and save you money while doing it.
DM us for details on pre ordering produce.
This is what community actually looks like.#supportlocal #realfood #bethesdamd #sustainability #realimpact

Pokeweed berries, which ripen in the fall and persist throughout the winter, serve as a vital food source for various mammals and bird species. These animals have developed a remarkable immunity to the toxins found in pokeweed berries, enabling them to feast on the nutritious fruits without any adverse effects. This unique relationship between pokeweed and wildlife plays a crucial role in the ecosystem by facilitating seed dispersal and supporting the survival of countless species.

Nature isn’t something “out there.” 🌿

We are nature.

Somewhere along the way we’ve been taught to believe we’re separate from it, but every tree cut down, every river polluted and every wild space destroyed isn’t just harming the planet… it’s harming us.

The sad reality is that so much of this destruction is driven by greed. The endless pursuit of money and profit has convinced us that nature is expendable, when in fact it’s the very thing that gives us life.

Thank you @jonnynature for reminding us that reconnecting with nature isn’t a luxury.. it’s essential! When we protect the natural world, we’re protecting ourselves, our children, and every generation that follows. 🤍

Maybe it’s time we stopped asking what nature can do for us… and started asking what kind of future we’re creating by turning our backs on it.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. 💚

Fingers crossed it left behind a fresh batch of eggs! The Hoptree has been a real host plant hot spot this season, so standing there together in complete silence watching this Giant Swallowtail was a truly special moment.
It’s always incredible to see native habitat doing its job. 🌱
