Let’s chat about failure… while it doesn’t look like it now, this was definitely one. A fellow knife collector and friend wanted a spa of this mini made back in 2023. Obviously no problem at all. We were going to refinish the blade and add a backspacer - no biggie (the originals only had standoffs). Fast forward to the refinishing, and I over sharpened the tip… made it look wonky af - to me at least. That blade couldn’t leave and I needed to make another - only one problem - I didn’t have any more of that steel and Chad didn’t have more so he had to make it, which he did no prob… (Chad’s cool like that). This 2 week “spa” quickly turned into a multi-month project. We decided to just go all out, add collars, replace the studs to the ones I make in house, etc. thankfully @jonnynoknives is the most patient and understanding dude there is, I got to take my time to produce, what I consider, a baller piece. Happy humpday folks! Oh, and OZ Machine makes some killer 2-56 screws!

Many have asked me: what do you mean by an emerging knife maker? A knife maker who in recent years has significantly raised the quality of his work, achieving critical and public success.
Here are 4 knifemakers who are having great success, whose work is so recognizable... In the end, the young and talented Grayson Jennings won, happy to give him this Edward, who had narrowly missed out in the "Best young knifemaker" category.
Only 2 Edwards left to go, next Sunday: "Best collaboration".

Here we are, the first "Edward" is awarded, and after what a battle! 4 great knifemakers received many votes (80) and in the end Landesman came out on top. Congratulations to him and all those who participated.

PS: don't miss the Edward for the "Best Classic Folder Knife" next Sunday. Can you already imagine who the 4 nominees will be?

Just finished up this order of sweet knives on my new @tsprof_en K03 for @jonnynoknives The Axicube angle finder was very helpful to dial in the angles.
