Deeply grateful for another opportunity to stage @alexeiratmansky’s Pictures at an Exhibition with @pacificnorthwestballet . Thank you, Alexei, for once again entrusting me with passing on this cherished ballet.

Reuniting with my former @sab_nyc teacher and @nycballet colleague Aritstic Director @petboal, as well as SAB classmate and Associate Artistic Director @kicon82 after 25+ years was nostalgic and incredibly special. Thank you both, along the entire PNB artistic staff, for the warmest welcome to the company.

Special thanks to another SAB classmate and PNB Rehearsal Director @jonnyporretta for being an absolute #dreamteammate during the entire staging process.

And endless thanks to the phenomenal dancers, whose hard work, dedication, passion, and artistry brought this work to life so beautifully. I couldn’t be prouder of you all and will be with you in spirit throughout the run. 🙏🏾💙💛❤️

Did you know that celebrated ballerina, teacher, and Balanchine repetiteur Deborah Wingert (@dancing_deb_) was the original Snow Queen in Francis Patrelle’s The Yorkville Nutcracker? While still a dancer with the @nycballet, Francis choreographed this role on her showcasing her sweeping romanticism.

In this archival clip she is partnered by Francois Perron (@fjpny) and accompanied by the then @sab_nyc student Jonathan Porretta (@jonnyporretta)who went on to have a career as a principal dancer with @pacificnorthwestballet

Join us this weekend for our 2026 Yorkville Nutcracker auditions and stay tuned for more archival footage as we celebrate 30 years of Francis Patrelle’s The Yorkville Nutcracker. #francispatrelle #dancespatrelle

#ThrowbackThursday to the first time RUBIES sparkled across OBT’s stage. ✨

Set to Stravinsky’s fiery Capriccio for Piano and Orchestra, George Balanchine’s RUBIES fuses classical technique with modern exuberance in a playful yet sophisticated display of sharp angles and syncopated rhythms. This dynamic and dazzling piece brings jazz-infused energy and Broadway flair to ballet that you won’t want to miss!

Experience the energy of RUBIES alongside Dani Rowe’s moving pas de deux, UNSAID, and her original PRINCESS AND THE PEA in our mixed-rep Spring show.

Tickets on sale now at the link in bio. 🎟️

"A Million Kisses to my Skin", choreographed by David Dawson, was one high energy, adrenaline pumping, pieces I've performed. Here's an excerpt from the end of the first movement before we stay on stage and each have a pas de deux.

Loved sharing the stage with @jonnyporretta and Bold in this, so much fun. Enjoy!

Proud and grateful to be a Dance Educator and Judge with @universalballetcompetition 🙌

Every weekend I’m reminded that this role is about more than scores for these young artists— it’s about inspiring growth, confidence, and love for the art in the next generation of dancers. Watching them evolve season after season is a privilege I never take for granted. 💙💙💙💙💙 AND thank you to David & @lissettelucas_ for giving us this platform and for creating this beautiful place for dancers to thrive 🌟
