Two weeks of discovering a different side of myself, immersing myself in the magic of dance thanks to @ebbjuniorballet in cooperation with inspiring @jonole_olstad ✨🤍 Thank you for your knowledge, good energy, and the challenges that later turned into meditation and pleasure. And here is a fragment of an interesting collaboration between my improvisation and Jon’s creative process! And as Jon said: ,,be like a tiger of silence” grateful❣️

Dear @sivgaustad 🕊️ Last week I received the shocking and incredibly sad news that you had chosen to leave this world. It broke my heart. 💔😢 It made me think back to when I first started dancing jazz in 2005. I came from the street dance community in Oslo and crew Cre8, and started taking your evening classes at @khio . I was captivated by your energy, warmth and inspiring way of teaching. You welcomed me with open arms, even though I had no ballet or jazz background. ❤️ In your classes, I learned that you could dance with your soul and truly be yourself. You taught me to dance from the inside to connect with the music, my emotions and who I am. That became a huge inspiration for the dancer I am today. ❤️ You were a mentor, a friend and an incredible teacher. You trained me for my first season of Dansefeber and inspired me to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Dance at KHIO (2007–2010). I am forever grateful. 🙏🏽❤️ Even though our dance paths later went in different directions, whacking, musicals, TV and everything life brought along ,I would not be the dancer I am today without you. You opened a door to jazz that became such an important part of my life. Thank you, Siv. I will always remember you. 🕊️❤️ The photos and videos are from 2005–2009, from Siv’s YouTube channel and friends photos , little memories of how fierce, energetic and inspiring you were. 🤩🥺🔥❤️ This is also a reminder to care for each other. Check in. Talk. Ask how people are really doing. Show love. Give each other your time and attention. ❤️ My deepest condolences to Siv’s family, friends and everyone who loved her. May you find comfort in all the beautiful memories and the love she left behind. 🕊️❤️ Rest in peace, beautiful Siv. Dance wherever you are and one day, we will dance together again. 🙏🏽🕊️💔
