My intelligent, quirky, kind, compassionate, beautiful, adventurous friends got married yesterday. Surrounded by the unconditional love of their community. People were shining, and dancing, and laughing, and drinking and they let me take pictures of it all. @omgmichaelb and @lunac007 Thank you guys. Congratulations ❤️

No detail is overlooked before move-in. 📦🏡

The final stretch of a home build is about more than checking boxes. It’s making sure every finish, fixture, built-in, and transition comes together the way it was intended, from custom cabinetry and millwork to flooring, lighting, and the details you’ll interact with every day. These finishing touches are what turn months of planning and construction into a home that feels complete the moment you walk through the door. #MaineHomeBuilder #MaineHomeDesign #CustomHomeBuilder #MaineHomes #fullhomerenovation

Every home needs a few spots that make you want to stay awhile.

A breakfast booth overlooking the water, a tucked-away bench in the mudroom, a window seat made for slow mornings, built-in nooks turn otherwise overlooked areas into places you actually want to use.

When planning a custom home or renovation, thoughtful design is about finding opportunities like these: adding function, creating a place to gather, and making the most of the views that come with living in Maine.

Which nook are you claiming? 1, 2, or 3?

Your morning coffee spot could look a little something like this. ☕🌊

Coffee brewing, sunlight pouring in, and a view of the Maine coast right outside the window. This built-in beverage bar makes the most of the space with a prep sink, beverage fridge, storage, and a window placement that turns an everyday routine into something worth slowing down for.

Because when you’re building or renovating a home, the best spaces aren’t just beautiful, they’re designed around the way you want to live in them.

When @wearethewalrusband takes a detour into Soulsville!

One of the many excellent things about playing in The Walrus is not just playing Beatles music, but also occasionally playing some of the music those dudes went off to make on their own. Sometimes we even take it a step further and do someone else’s interpretation. Like this 2024 performance when I got to sing Jealous Guy, in the style of Donny Hathaway.

*Bonus points to anyone who can decipher what that yelly audience member is saying. I could only pull apart “How f*ckin’ cool is that!?!”

It was so great to see @wearethewalrusband stripped down to their core six last week @citywinerybos. Everyone in the place was blown away by the musicianship and song selection, hopefully spreading the word about just how fantastic this band is. Can't wait for the @statetheatreportland shows this fall!

And make sure to check out my latest piece on them @vanyalandmusic via my Link in Bio.
