7070 km and 31 nights through 8 European countries, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, San Marino, Slovenia, Austria, and Czech Republic. We averaged 51 km/h and spent ca 125 hours behind the wheel. First long summer trip with the Van. Very glad we bought a bunch of fans before we left home. It’s hot sleeping in the roof beds tropical summer nights. 😅 it’s so much new to learn, so much is better, some worse then travel with the roof top tent (that we loved so so much). What we really love with the Van is to sleep on parking spots, at beaches, near lakes etc totally free 😅 we truly love our toilette and our refrigerator is beyond expectations!!! Parking and tourism is a challenge but we learn for each day on the road and we all have strong legs so it’s not a problem parking outside towns and walk in to the city 💪🏼 we just need to learn and get use to all the new laws with a bigger and heavier vehicle. We all agree that this is the biggest vehicle we will ever have, next one is going to be smaller 😂 looking forward to all the future adventures in this Van and we are so happy to the opportunity to do this and live this life, even if it’s few vaycay weeks on a year, we really enjoy and are thankful 🥹 peace n love !

We have just checked out after a few days in Sanremo 🇮🇹 . After a week on the French Riviera we went east towards Italy. On the way we visited the perfume city of Grasse, snorkeled at the Esterel Mountains and visited the cool town of Eze, swam in fantastic Menton. In Sanremo we have sunbathed, swam, snorkeled, visited the large Friday market in Ventlimiglia, and mostly recharged, now we have started our journey towards Tuscany 🇮🇹

We drove slow down south. It was the plan from the start but the traffic made us even slower. Our new car slow us down a lot, and we still have much to learn. Our first stop was at Bergen Beltzen concentration camp in north of Germany. Then we drove to Hann Münden, then Strasbourg, the wine roads in Alsace, visit Eguisheim, down to the Alps and a revisit Annecy. We did go to the Grotte de Choranche, and the drive from there to south of Provence was truly spectacular!! We did se the lavender fields in bloom, stop by the fantastic town, L’isle-sur-la-sorgue. And now we have a week at the beach at Camp du Domaine (also a revisit, from last year. Favorite spot for the kids)

We had an amazing easter in Dalarna. Love that part of the country, so relaxing over there. First time we travel five, two adults and three kids, in the Van and it went great even if the weather was pretty bad sometimes. 🙏🏻 🐣

Thanks Norway for an amazing new years with both wet rain and supercold (-20 c) it has test us beginners pretty well but its fun learning. We have stayed two nights at campings and one night at a ’bobilparkering’ (stellplatz) and three nights in the ’free’. Lucky we got electricity when the temp hit the lowest 🤣 The nature in Norway is really amazing, and we are so happy we was able to visit 🇳🇴 Humble about the future and excited about all we have ahead of us with the van 🚐 Happy new year! #norway #vanlifewithkids #campapåvintern
