Strip it all away, what’s underneath, the truth of it is just one person helping another. That’s all folks. And in the giving freely with no expectation of reciprocation then do we receive. That’s the paradox give away to “get”.

My beautiful rolling goddess, Angela 25 years ago, they said she might only have three months — but she chose to live, love, and celebrate every moment. 🤍✨ Surrounded by 150 incredible people, beautiful souls, amazing music, and performers, we came together dressed in white to celebrate life without fear, limitations, or boundaries. ♿️🤍🎶

meet me on the dance floor…

the last month playing around LA has had me reflecting on how special it is to get to do this, to keep finding new rooms, new crowds, and new reasons to fall in love with music all over again.

LA, it’s been a pleasure. Where should we dance next?

the easiest YES. 🪩💕💌💭🛹🛼

when I initially got asked to do this set I was beyond thrilled, but nothing can truly prepare you for the magic of djing on a moving disco ball, dressed in your flyest disco attire, at sunset, down the iconic Abbott Kinney Blvd and Venice beach with 100 new friends on roller skates and boards following you along the way. It was bubbles and sunshine and cars honking and pure joy.

10/10 no notes & the bar has been set incredibly high. thank you @disco.cart and @viberidela for having me. and to all the riders for THE ENERGYYYY. just wow. my cheeks still hurt from smiling so much.

my full set is now available on YouTube at the link in bio!

so I threw it myself, no sunday scaries here 🥐 🪩

last weekend I hosted morning ritual no. 001, where I invited 35 friends to my backyard for an intimate gathering during my favorite time of the week.

we ate fruit & pastries, enjoyed a tea offering by @srvj, and jotted down intentions for the week while I performed a downtempo turned dance set.

turns out we don’t need to wait until midnight.

should we do it again?

The gigs are probably 10% of what being a full-time artist actually looks like.

The other 90% is this.

It’s how I start my mornings. Meditation, journaling, moving my body, the things that keep me grounded before I give my energy to everything else.

It’s hours spent finding new music, practicing, working on mixes, answering emails, reaching out for bookings, and figuring out what I’m building next.

But I’ve also learned that taking my career seriously doesn’t mean working every second of the day.

It’s going to shows and staying inspired. Spending time with people I love. Cooking at home, touching grass, side questing, and actually living a life that makes me want to create.

I’m still figuring it out, but I’m learning that becoming the artist I want to be has as much to do with how I live my life as what happens behind the decks.

The work behind the work. 🌀
