Winter Recap Part 2 — our trip to Paris deserves it own post. Went to the city of love for 24 hours. My dear dear friend @casimirmulder turned 30 and we celebrated in style at @casimir_paris. Saw Gerard Richter at LV Foundation, 100% recommend! Also one of my first experiments with dressing multiple people for a social event. Very fun 🖤

I’m hopping on the 2016 trend ❤️

Such a happy year. I could cry just thinking about it (or am I just being a nostalgic Cancer?)

The year we opened our tiny store at Botermarkt 11.
The year we started doing kilo sales at The Nobel.
The year we celebrated the opening with too many beers and so many friends ✨Friends who, ten years later, are still close and still helping with VNTG Label & @vntg.atelier

I was still posting endless mirror fashion selfies back then. So funny to see how little my style has actually changed. Our main business started as a webshop, with countless shoots. Friends, strangers who quickly became friends. Late-night shoots, endless items and a lot of late night cigarettes and bonding 👯‍♀️

Looking back, I’m just so happy and proud of what we built over all these years. Girls supporting girls and a truly supportive boyfriend who was there from day one.

Last Sunday, I turned 30.

To celebrate, we’ve asked our dear friends to meet us in Paris to drench ourselves in love & art. I’m deeply grateful for the wonderful, spectacular people I get to call my friends. We’re very aware of the privilege of being able to travel together, and to do so in such abundance.

I’m carrying that feeling back home with me, hoping it lasts a little while. For now, it’s time to lock in and begin the process of my debut film.

Zandkorrels.
Aan de kust is zand in overvloed. Het vormt het landschap, glipt door onze vingers en knarst onder onze voeten. In mijn artistieke onderzoek nam ik dit eenvoudige materiaal als vertrekpunt om de wereld in te kijken.

De tentoonstelling ECHOES OF NATURE is geopend! Neem deze week een kijkje in de kas op het Pieterskerkplein in Leiden. Vandaag zijn we er ook weer met artist talks, een workshop van @karlkarlas en een interactieve sessie met microscopische beelden vanaf 17.30!

Juni ❤️ Ik ben niet goed in esthetische foto’s maken maar ik ben wel goed in zelf de slingers ophangen. Maastricht, Monschau, Morrissey & mooie mensen. Zonde dat ik zoveel andere avonden niet heb vastgelegd of is dit ouder worden?
