We submitted Sunset Muriwai to NZ On Air on 13 August. Decision expected 10 September.

Music Over Matter is a collective offering from Aotearoa — a circle of artists making Sunset Muriwai together.

A lot of people already said yes. We will introduce them when the time is right.

Circle, not pyramid. Every voice counts. Every contribution credited.

Follow along.

We're incredibly excited to finally share that we've partnered with Big Pop Music through a distribution deal. ❤️🤘🏽

For an independent band from Taupō, this is a pretty special milestone for us and something we've been working towards behind the scenes for a while now.

From the moment we first connected with Joost Langeveld and the team at Big Pop Music, it felt like a great fit. We're grateful for the opportunity, excited to be working together, and proud to now be part of the Big Pop family.

We've got plenty of music in the works and can't wait to share what's next with you all.

Here's to the next chapter.

When I was 15 years old my amazing supportive singing teacher @lezacorban opened the door for me to record at @bigpop_studios and I immediately fell in love with recording music🎵🖤The world of music is so magical and I am so grateful I get to do this and it all started with a couple of people believing in me

Also how cool is this music video my cousin @amiegellert made 💫

Orbits and Echoes - a project I made with @iamjannahbeth and @jeauneil_ is out now. This creative process is hard to sum up in a caption but it had everything. The depth and vulnerability and exploration and laughs and walks and dogs and sunsets. In the quiet moments I am deeply grateful. Thanks to those who made this possible.
