The hurdle crews from the UCBAC delivered elite performances at the State Championships in the boys 1A 110m hurdles. Bryson Foster of Perryville raced to the top qualifying time in the prelims with a 15.06, while Kole Pollock of Joppatowne secured the second-fastest qualifying mark at 15.39. The two UCBAC standouts now head into what could become one of the most exciting finals of the weekend after trading wins throughout the season, including Pollock’s victory over Foster at the UCBAC Championships.
On the girls side, Colbie Rondone of Perryville narrowly missed qualifying for the 1A 100m hurdles final, finishing ninth overall and just one spot away from advancing to championship Saturday.
Another huge showing for the UCBAC hurdle squads as Harford and Cecil County athletes continued to shine on the state stage.
