Bezirk Wiens – statt. Geschichten sind wichtig. Viele Geschichten sind wichtig. Hard to believe but es ist so weit…🤩Today is our last performance day of The Narrative Season! We perform for the LAST five hours! Join us at 📍Der Betrieb at Vogelweidplatz 13 in Vienna. 🌱Open to all, free entry - drop in anytime! Welcome. 💫 The Season of Narratives, Alexander Gottfarb and his long-term collaborators explore how personal and collective stories shape identity and guide behaviour. The artists look at how narratives create meaning, offer models for action and influence the sense of self. Human actions often arise from bodily intent rather than belief or planning, and stories can oversimplify this complexity. When one narrative becomes dominant, it risks silencing others and reinforcing power structures – raising questions of who controls a story and whose voices remain unheard. You have to keep writing this particular story – not some story, not some story in general but this story. You have to be here. Not everywhere. You have to be attached to some things not everything. The Season of Narratives - a durational dance performance 🗓️8.4 - 16.5 ⏳Wed-Sat 2-7 pm 📍Der Betrieb Vogelweidplatz 13, 1150 Vienna Credits: Artistic direction Alexander Gottfarb Choreography & dance Stella Covi, Alexander Gottfarb, Jolyane Langlois, Raul Maia, Anna Maria Nowak, Lena Schattenberg Text Anna Mendelssohn in collaboration with the performers Music & composition Stephan Sperlich Costume design Karin Pauer Technical support Roman Harrer Production management mollusca productions Administration Takelage Graphic design Katarina Schildgen, Paul Gasser Photography Victoria Nazarova Video documentation Ulrich Reiterer A co-production by Archipelago and brut Wien. 🤩Three performance days left ! The Season of Narratives💫 ‼️Der Betrieb until May 16th Wed-Sat 14:00-19:00 free entry! Der Betrieb Vogelweidplatz 13, 1150 The Season of Narratives, the most story-driven season of Der Betrieb so far, is entering its third week! The season’s structure is beginning to resonate: repetition builds, characters arise, and stories unfold. Anna Mendelssohn’s reflections, alongside Stephan Sperlich’s soundscapes—drifting from melancholic melodies to car chase sounds—create a constantly shifting playground for the performers to explore. Meanwhile, the uncanny playful costumes by Karin Pauer give the dancers the freedom to reinvent themselves each time they enter the playground. Each day, performers Jolyane, Lena, Stella, Raul, Anna, and Alex continue to meet, negotiating their practice with wit and intensity, materializing narratives through various strategies. In Der Betrieb, every movement and interaction is improvised. It emerges from the moment and the shared energy of the space. So keep coming. Keep returning. We’d love to see you again. 🌿Drop in, free entry - an open, durational performance - The Season of Narratives‼️Today we are happy to be part of the 6th edition of Grätzel Art Open @graetzlgalerie ✨ Every day at Der Betrieb, performers Jolyane, Lena, Stella, Raul, Anna, and Alex meet—negotiating their practice with wit and intensity. They explore narratives in motion: How do stories appear? When do meanings surface—and dissolve again? Are the stories created by the performers, or do you, the spectator, bring them to life? Or maybe it’s somewhere in between… a gliding, ambivalent third space. 🌱In The Season of Narratives, every movement and interaction is improvised. Each moment emerges from the shared energy of the space—never the same twice. 💫 Keep coming. Keep returning. ‼️Open‼️2-7pm Der Betrieb / @brut_wien Vogelweidplatz 13 Video: @ulrich.a.reiterer #TheSeasonOfNarratives #DerBetrieb #LivePerformance #ImprovisedTheater

#lovemyjob #massage #health #vienna Foto @flashmichmal
