Travel dump 2023 🌍

I would normally say more travel in 2024 but I would be lying if I said that.

I am EXHAUSTED and broken.

This year I went to South Korea, Fiji, and Mexico for the first time and went back to Canada and the USA (for the last time IYKYK). 25 countries now ticked off ✅

I’ve stayed in way too many hostels/ guest houses and caught more public buses and trains than I ever want to catch for the rest of eternity. I’ve been in the most uncomfortable positions of my life both physically and mentally. But perhaps it was all for the bit and I will write a book about the time I got in a fight with my French bunkmate in Montreal or my waiter in Spain who asked me out on a date and when I declined he refused to serve me for the rest of the week or my Baby Girl Lisa Airbnb host in Brooklyn who complained about the other guests when I was the one who did the thing she was complaining about yet I still listened to her talk for hours about her online relationship with a stranger from Nigeria and reassured her that it sounded legit.

My travel from now on is purely for relaxation and if you ask me to go anywhere else, for any other reason…. I’ll probably still come 😮‍💨
