this worlds meant so much more than medals.

it reminded me that God’s plans are always better than my own. when i moved to texas, i thought i was leaving home behind. instead, He was leading me to one.

thankful for every person who has become family, every memory we’ve made, and every moment that brought us here. God is so, so good. ❤️

Where do I even start? This was the most emotional Worlds I’ve ever experienced.
First, I want to thank my coaches and mentors: @cielsolwazi @tmarceljones @kalobcox and Master Allemier. Thank you for being guiding lights in my life this year. I truly don’t think I would’ve made it through everything without your support, guidance, and belief in me.

Next, I want to say how proud I am of all my students. Y’all made this Worlds something truly special. Watching each of you compete, grow, and represent yourselves so well meant more to me than any medal ever could. ❤️

This year, I cared more about my students’ success than my own—but I was still blessed to win both Forms divisions 🏆🏆 and Team Synchronized Weapons 🏆.
Super 20 was another milestone. For the first time in 12 years, I competed in all eight events.
Results:
🥉 ❌ ❌ 🥉 🥇 🥉 🥇 🥉
I’m proud of the wins, but I’m even more proud of the people I got to share this journey with. The memories, the laughs, the tears, and the moments together are what I’ll remember most.
This season was just the beginning.
The next one will be the one. 🫡❤️

Kaden is 5! I can’t even believe it! He’s getting so big and I’m so blessed to have the title of TT, it truly is a gift and a privilege to watch Kaden grow up. He is so smart, caring and just a joy to be around. I hope one day I can inspire him like he inspires me everyday 🥰🤟🏾
