Lake como, Rapallo, Genova, Portofino and every little town on the Italian Riviera, I’d be back in a heartbeat…even if it includes running for ferries, swimming alongside snakes, stolen phones, 3hrs at the police station in the middle of NOWHERE, chasing after UPS for 3 days, missing trains, one too many busses and one too many buses not working, 25€ taxis, basil on everything, Nutella and breadsticks, a property manager more irritating than a broken underwire bra, gelato until we drop, the corner shop outside of our “hotel”, the Rapallo HILLSIDE accomodation, bedbugs, 7482 too many slices of pizza, the most questionable steak in the world, the most adorable ducklings, glittery water, toe blisters and everything in between 🍝🍋🇮🇹🍹🏝️

this trip was such a dream I extended it…new country coming soon!!

between getting stuck in Spain and missing so many trains a Flixbus to Cannes was the only option, Île Sainte-Marguerite, Villefranche-sur-Mer, crystal clear water, too many vodka redbulls, sunrise swims, snorkelling the whole day, bisou bisou on repeat, wayyyyy to much time spent shopping, the cutest cottage, walking home at 5am too many times because no busses ran yet, navigating the busses (382828 million €1.80 charges), Jordan and her love for pesto pasta, looking like a MESS on each and every travel day, and Sarah and her questionable tub of €1 ice cream…the SOF will always have my heart 🇫🇷

Portugal was really just one big postcard 🇵🇹

between Sarah’s millionth pasteis de nata, the cutest little hostel, Cascais Carcavelos and every beach in between, Jordan trying to find surfable longboard waves, UV 15, the best tan and worst burn of my life, 4 trains and passing income tax all I can say is OBRIGADA (or obrigado could never tell the difference xx)
