This E90 328i hit a deer on the highway…

…and the impact ripped the front passenger engine wiring harness out of the car. 47 fault codes were found on the DME.

What started as front-end damage quickly turned into one of the most involved electrical diagnostics jobs we’ve handled.

During diagnosis we discovered:

• Front engine harness ripped from the deer strike
• Aftermarket immobilizer + GPS tracker spliced into the CAS wiring
• Improper amplifier wiring for a line output converter
• K-CAN network failure caused by a failed JBE module

The immobilizer and tracker were removed, wiring was restored back to OEM configuration, and the JBE module was replaced and coded to bring the vehicle network back online.

Once the electrical backbone was restored we rebuilt the front end from the deer strike:

• G80 pre-LCI style headlights
• Passenger fog light + grille
• Splash shield + wheel liner
• Hood latch repair
• TPMS antenna replacement and programming

While the car was apart we also completed:

• Full brake service (Zimmermann + Akebono)
• Front passenger wheel hub + bearing
• Oil service (5W-40)
• Blower motor replacement
• Oil filter housing gasket
• Mickey Mouse Metal Coolant Flange Upgrade

Interior upgrades included an Android head unit with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto and backup camera, along with door handle and interior clip repairs.

This project required deep BMW electrical diagnostics, network troubleshooting, wiring repair, module coding, and full front-end restoration.

Not every shop takes on work like this.

This is exactly what we specialize in.

Another BMW saved.

Another N54 getting the attention it deserved 🔧
Started with a full factory M-Sport suspension retrofit on all four corners, followed by diagnosing a crank sensor fault that was causing undrivable conditions. While addressing that, we resealed the intake with new intake manifold port gaskets and a throttle body gasket.

What began as an oil filter housing gasket and oil thermostat gasket service quickly turned into a full oil filter housing replacement after discovering a previous shop had over-tightened the thermostat and pulled the threads out of the housing. No shortcuts here. Replacing the entire filter housing was the correct fix and the only option.

We also diagnosed a faulty sensor preventing the convertible top from retracting, replaced a cracked power steering reservoir, installed a new serpentine belt with new belt tensioner and idler pulleys, and finished everything off with a fresh Liqui Moly oil change and Mann oil filter.

No shortcuts. No bandaids. Just doing it once and doing it right. 🙏

What started as a simple turbo replacement turned into one of the most involved diagnostic journeys I’ve done to date. 👨‍🔧

It started with a set of rebuilt twins going in — but once everything was back together, I uncovered a hidden PCV delete from the relocated inlets that was causing all kinds of confusion. From there, I chased down a stubborn 2E83 water pump fault that turned out to be caused by a corroded signal wire inside the thermostat connector. One tiny bit of coolant intrusion had the whole system in chaos — and it all led to a full pin replacement, wiring cleanup, and reassembly.

No shortcuts, no guessing — just proper diagnosis, patience, and a lot of late nights.

No leaks, no codes, no guessing. She’s finally back together and better than ever. 🙌
This one tested me, but that’s what it’s all about — learning, adapting, and earning the win the right way.
