I slso attempted Lannan but the line was even longer than the photo and your girl only had so much time. I love a pastry buuuuuut... 😅

A perfect day out for a book lover (Edinburgh edition) 📚

I met my OG booksta bestie in Edinburgh and we had the most perfect day yapping about books and visiting the coolest bookshops! Jordan was the best tour guide, so excited to show him the cool bookshops we have in Glasgow 🥰

Shops mentioned:

🌟 𝑨𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚

I have recently met so many incredible friends and I have also caught up with old friends around Edinburgh.

I have finally met the amazing Jordan @jordslibrary who I found years ago on Instagram and since then we have been friends here. I can’t describe how I felt meeting Jordan in person… what a sweet and kind human being and one of the best book sellers ever 🩷 love you so much @jordslibrary

I have also recently met @coescozycorner and @aivlis_ml and we had so much fun talking about books and now I can’t wait to see them again.

Last week I managed to go to the @bookloversbookshop with @themacabremedievalist and we got matching pins like the good friends we are 🖤

I had so much fun going to the @balgone_estate with my @lostintravel.blog @a.wandering.hart and @maunders.zx and we had so much fun 🌻

This post couldn’t miss @discovermyscotland the book bestie and @readwithcatriona who are always there for me.

What a great August and beginning of September it has been.

thought i’d spread the love a bit with a post featuring some of my favourite creators - there are too many others to mention (this didn’t even include tiktok faves so maybe i’ll make another post in future with some of them) but i hope you enjoy checking out all of these wonderful people! 💕

let me know some of your favourite creators in the comments because i am always on the lookout for new voices to follow 🫶

Happy Pride 🌈

This is your essential pride month reminder: say NO to rainbow capitalism and say YES to queer literature.

This pride month commit yourself to read at least one queer book. The queer bookstagram community is your source to get inspiration and recommendations. 🏳️‍🌈📚

Some of my favorite bookstagrammers who inspire me to read more queer stories:

@lit_laugh_luv
@brocksgaybookshelf
@wlmbooks
@jordslibrary
@franksforeword
@gladdaybookshop

I was inspired by @jordslibrary and @reading.andrew for creating this post. As a fellow bookstagrammer, I read a diverse amount of genres as well as listening and amplifying voices in communities where they are not heard. I can’t believe there’s this one problematic bookstagrammer who promotes nothing, but hate and I do not stand for that at all. Here are some books that are my TBR that I am reading with biblical conviction! I have an endless TBR and there’s more books that fit the assignment.
