Boast Rattle returns! My head to head compliment contest, the nice-roasting, is back. For one night!

Featuring Moshe Kasher, Aparna Nancherla, Guy Branum, Jordan Temple, Rob Haze, Martha Kelly, host Kyle Ayers, and special guests!

Comedians competitively compliment each other. And even more fun to watch, they must receive praise from one another, in joke form. Very limited tickets, get them now! Art from the wonderful @sjogrenjack

———

Debuting all of the way back in 2013, created and hosted by Kyle Ayers, comedians compete to see who can compliment one another in this showdown of sweetness, this clash of consideration, this barrage of benevolence. Playing off of the idea of roasts, Boast Rattle has two comedians go head-to-head, delivering alternating blows of the nicest order. Two rounds. One lucky crowd member who gets some on-the-spot boasting. One Champion of Charity, Master of Magnanimity.

Boast Rattle has been featured in dozens of comedy festivals, including the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, Bonnaroo, The Kennedy Center in DC, New York Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, Moontower Comedy Festival, Rubber City Comedy Fest, Red Clay Comedy Festival, Bird City Comedy Festival, Life is Beautiful Music in Las Vegas, and more, traveling coast to coast, and up into lovely Canada as well. @moshekasher @aparnapkin @guybranum @mkellyatx @jordyploy @robhaze @elysiantheater @boastrattle

@jordyploy it was a pleasure 🤝🤌 Why is ABC’s Abbott Elementary so beloved? What makes a four quadrant network comedy not only funny but differentiated and real?

Big characters, jokes that are funny AND develop the story… while also acknowledging real world truths and grounding audiences in reality.

@jordyploy has also worked on Amazon’s MARVELOUS MRS MAISEL and FX’s ATLANTA.

Thank you for your time 🙌

Much like Coolio (and @aishaalfa 😉) before me, I went on a fantastic voyage. Thanks @voyagelamag!

Tonight I’m doing @betterhalfcomedy and then @microdosecomedy at @thefable.la (which is what my fantastic voyage was about, so come along and ride).

Also my @goldenstatecomedy show on the 24th seems like the type of thing you’d want to reserve tickets for now-ish.

11. I told Nate I would frame this.
