S/O to @jorgeleoon and the @ibt_fall_league for always giving me the opportunity to coach, lead, and instill principles that will help prepare these young men for more than basketball—but for LIFE!

Special S/O to Coach @yarianfernandezz for stepping right in! New to the league, but she immediately embraced the culture and rose to the TEAM COACH JOHN STANDARD!

The mission isn’t finished.

WE’RE COMING FOR IT ALL THIS SEASON! 🏆

It is my prayer that this feeling ALWAYS STAYS 💐8/24 #mambaforever

As a former athlete I can never remember the coaches that taught me how to dribble or how to shoot (it was soo many), but I do remember the ones that helped mold me into the man I am today!

As a coach whether, it’s a summer league, club, high school, college or the pros…..you become a part of your athletes VILLAGE and if you aren’t coaching with LOVE for your athletes or teaching valuable lessons to leave a lasting IMPACT, my question for you is WHAT ARE YOU DOING IT FOR?

No matter what capacity I’m coaching, whether it’s on the court, or helping build their mindset….it is my prayer that I leave a legacy and they REMEMBER COACH JOHN FOREVER! We miss you Kobe 💛💜

S/o to my bruhda @tb_sliim for this dope EP “Flowers”(dropped on Kobe Day 8/24 to honor the GOAT 🐐)

S/o to my other bruhda @jorgeleoon and the @ibt_fall_league for year after year allowing me the space and opportunity to coach and coach how I see fit with discipline and accountability! I appreciate you always!

LOVE WHAT YOU DO AND DO WHAT YOU LOVE - Coach John
