– SCHAAMHAAR –

Dirty. Animal-like. A witch. Vulgar. Out of control. Aggressive. Unfeminine.

This is what the hairy feminine body has been called throughout history. For this collection I shaved my head and used my own hair, shedding myself of the only hair I once believed the feminine body should have and transformed it into body hair that is chosen to be worn.

I’m beyond excited to share my graduation collection with you soon. This collection holds a part of me, both literally and figuratively. Stay tuned, more is coming.

Initially inspired by musings from @pimentacitrica, our second panel of the day invites us into a conversation about repair and accountability.

We’ll explore the messy, blurred edges of being human... what happens when harm occurs, when intentions miss the mark and when things fall apart. Cancel culture can’t always hold the full complexity of these moments. So what does meaningful growth look like? How do we take responsibility, tend to rupture and slowly rebuild trust?

Welcoming our next judge to our December 14 ‘Fluids’ edition @joris.huele - Joris Huele (he/him/she/her) is a growing filmmaker, currently specializing himself (amongst other things) in intimacy coordination. Wow, what is an intimacy coordinator, or IC for short?! Joris likes to compare it to a stunt coordinator. But just instead of making sure that action stunts happen physically safe, ICs make sure that intimate scenes happen emotionally safe, truthful to reality and with awareness. Furthermore, he loves to contribute to intimacy in non-erotic films, and to promote non-prudeness in the cinema industry.
