Welcome, @harp_e_harp ! I made a couple of new friends recently, firstly getting to meet Mr Harp-E himself @jorisbeats, and then taking this little friend home! Thanks so much Joris for making these brilliant affordable electric harps, it was so cool to meet you and hear more about your work!

I'll be making some videos with the Harp-E to see what it can do, look out for those soon.

So grateful for having spent these two weeks with some of my favourite people equally keen to jump into freezing water and being able to get everyone together. Batteries fully charged ❤️❤️❤️❤️

On Saturday 17 December, Hackoustic (@hackoustic) host a genre flexible, experimental, interactive and welcoming Christmas Party at IKLECTIK with live performances from Lula.xyz (@lula.xyz), Robin the Fog (@robinthefog), Tim Yates and Joris Beets (@jorisbeats) with installations by Jonathan Ansell and The Beating Birch (@thebeatingbirch) [Tom Fox (@vulpestruments) + Nick Murray].

Lula is leading the way for the evolution of music as an early adopter of the interactive midi controller gloves (MiMu gloves) which she utilises in her live performances.

Come and be part of a terrifyingly spooky choir in with Robin the Fog: Howlaround is a collaborative ambient / sci-fi / horror composition – using two reel to reel tape machines, a microphone and plenty of audience participation.

Sounds artist, musician and instrument builder Tim Yates is currently in residence with Amoenus (@amoenus_london), a 20 speaker ambisonic sound system currently installed at IKLECTIK. He will be premiering some of the audience interactive instruments that he’s developing as part of the residency with harpist and instrument designer Joris Beets.
