Life lately 🇨🇭☀️

Follow the direction that feels lighter.

Notice which thoughts expand you and which ones keep you small.
Question the beliefs you’ve been carrying for years and ask yourself if they still belong to you.

Lately, joy has been hiding in the simple things:
moving my body, having good conversations, swimming in lakes and rivers, working in the garden and on my balcony, meeting animals along the way, and soaking up every bit of sunshine I can get.

Life doesn’t always need to be bigger. Sometimes it just asks us to be more present.

I’m grateful summer is finally here. It has made coming back home a little easier, even though I sometimes find myself dreaming about the next place and the next adventure 🤪

And while I’m enjoying being here, I’m already looking forward to the next one 😉✨

Tanzania’s first Velosolutions Pump Track hasn’t been built in a city or a tourist destination. It sits in the rural village of Kahe in the Kilimanjaro region, made possible through Pump for Peace and the local organisation One Bike Tanzania.

Head over to the Velosolutions Youtube (link in bio) to share this very special story with us.

Wait for it to collapse 🫠

It took only a few months after filming these beautiful ice caves to see them melt away ☀️
The black ash comes from volcanoes that erupted centuries ago, their remains frozen deep in the ice.

Today, Iceland’s glaciers melt every summer, revealing ancient meltwater tunnels.
But the ice does not rebuild enough in winter.
So we are losing more and more of our glaciers worldwide 🌍

As average global temperatures rise, this process will only accelerate.

This is not the fault of individuals.
It is a failure of our system.

So let’s not blame each other. Let’s choose leaders and parties willing to stand for real climate action and a system that treats everyone fairly 😊

Two years ago, my journey with this film began – back when I sat together with @ellenwooolf , @helenakateamor, and @michaelschwendinger to shape the very first ideas.

What has grown out of it since then has been an incredibly beautiful and inspiring experience.
The dedication and vision that Ellen and Helena brought to IN VIADI were palpable from the very beginning – intense, creative, and deeply contagious.

Together with Michael Schwendinger, whose sharp eye and sense for composition gave life to these poetic and powerful images, we spent five unforgettable days filming in the mountains.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire dance crew, who brought this project to life with so much physicality, expression, and passion.
To the costume design by @christophcong, which tied the visual world together so seamlessly.
To @simon_hardegger for the color grading, and to the whole @dubdub.ch crew – especially Luca, for the atmospheric sound design.
Thank you to @robotkoch for the powerful, haunting music that carries IN VIADI so deeply.

And a very special thank you to @victoria.paeva , who so sensitively created all the visual elements – from graphics to posters, postcards, and even the accompanying book.

IN VIADI is much more than a dance film to me. ITS something to be experienced, not just watched.
And: it’s absolutely worth seeing on a big screen – because that’s where Ellen and Helena’s creativity and sense for atmosphere come into full bloom. With great sensitivity, they combine film screenings with live performance to create something truly unique (see last image).

Thank you to everyone who made this journey possible.

🖤
