POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
A little over seven years ago, I was a junior in high school, and I was asked to lead a group of sixth graders in the fall. I didn’t feel equipped; I didn’t know if I would even get along with kids that young, but the Lord urged me to do it. Man, that was the second best decision of my life. I continued to lead those girls- who have recently graduated- and served many other students as well. What beautiful hearts they have- hearts continually being molded by the Spirit! I love them as if they were my own family. Praise be to God that He has shown me His attributes through these wonderful ladies. I will never forget His goodness and faithfulness as long as I remember the gift that He gave me to know and serve them. I have no doubt these college freshmen will carry the gospel to their campuses and workplaces, for they truly love the Messiah and desire for Him to be praised in all lives.
Without question, I’m going to miss serving in student ministry. It’s been a staple in my entire adult life up to this point. But more than fun trips and goofiness, I’ll miss these students and worshiping alongside their growing hearts. Thank you @brookhillsstudents for 10 years of learning and sharing the Word with you💛
