My heart is so full. 💜💫

Although I wasn’t able to attend the Massó ¡Con Salsa! Block Party, seeing these beautiful moments made me feel the love, joy, and energy from afar. To see so many people rocking the Boy Mom by Jae x Embrace Massó ¡Con Salsa! hats and looking AMAZING while doing it, truly means more than I can put into words.

This collaboration was about so much more than a hat. It was created to honor legacy, culture, music, and the community that continues to carry it all forward. I’m incredibly grateful that Boy Mom by Jae was trusted to be a part of something so meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who wore a hat, captured a moment, and represented this collaboration with so much pride. Seeing my work out in the community will never get old. This is what it’s all about. 🙏🏽

With love and gratitude,
Jae 🩵

Embrace Boston honors the pioneers of Embrace Massó “¡Con Salsa!”, José and Divina Massó. For over five decades, @josec.masso brought Afro-Latin music and culture into homes across Boston through “¡Con Salsa!” on WBUR, building not just a radio show, but a community.

Together, the Massós’ vision and dedication to Boston’s Latino community laid the very foundation this festival was built on. What began as a voice on the radio grew into a movement, and this year, it filled entire city blocks with music, dance, and joy.

Their legacy lives in every note played and every hand held on the dance floor. To the Massó family, thank you for giving Boston a reason to come together and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. 👏🧡✨💐

NEW COLLAB ALERT ‼️

Boy Mom by Jae x Embrace Massó ¡Con Salsa! 🪇

Boy Mom by Jae has always been about more than hats. It’s about legacy, community, culture, and creating pieces that mean something and I’m truly honored to be part of this one.

Inspired by the legacy of José C. Massó III and the countless Afro-Latino artists and culture bearers who have helped shape Boston’s cultural landscape, we created a commemorative hat in recognition of Embrace Massó ¡Con Salsa!: Ritmo y Sonido Block Party.

And the detail that makes this one even more special: only 51 hats were created, honoring the 51 years that ¡Con Salsa! has been on the airwaves. 🖤

These hats were created to commemorate this moment, honor the legacy, and celebrate the culture and community that have made ¡Con Salsa! so special for more than five decades.

As a Boston brand, opportunities like this mean so much to me. To see Boy Mom by Jae continue to grow through community and be trusted to help bring meaningful ideas to life is something I’ll never take for granted.

Come celebrate with us and see the hats in person!
