One year with you… and somehow it still feels like the easiest choice I’ve ever made. In twelve months we’ve laughed until we couldn’t breathe, argued and grown, held each other through the hardest days, and built something I don’t think either of us expected to hit this deep. You’re my safe place, my favorite chaos, my biggest supporter, and the one person who never asks me to be anything other than myself.

Thank you for loving me loud, loving me soft, and loving me on the days I barely love myself. Thank you for choosing us every morning and choosing me every night.

I’m proud of this love. I’m proud of the way we show up for each other. And I’m so excited for everything we haven’t even lived yet.

Here’s to year one. And here’s to every year after. I love you more than I can ever say. God has blessed me with such a great person to live life with!

Over the past 7 and a half weeks, I have missed my support system more than I can put into words. Being away has been one of the hardest challenges of my life, but also one of the most rewarding. Every letter, every word of encouragement, every prayer and thought that was sent my way gave me strength to keep pushing forward on the days I felt like I couldn’t. I could not have made it through without the love and support of my family and friends.

Today, I am beyond proud to say I have officially earned the title of Airman. Wearing this uniform is more than just fabric and patches—it is a symbol of dedication, sacrifice, and a commitment to something far greater than myself. This country, with all its challenges and all its beauty, is something I am deeply honored to serve.

To those who stood by me while I was gone: thank you. You reminded me why I was fighting through the sleepless nights, the early mornings, and the endless training. You reminded me of my “why.” I will carry your support with me into every step of this journey, because I truly wouldn’t be here without you.

This is only the beginning, but it’s a beginning I step into with pride, gratitude, and determination. I am honored to stand here, in this uniform, representing not just myself, but every single person who believed in me.
