A few pictures from @mostlymodernfestival

Also, a huge thank you to @zivpinco_music for asking me to play on the world premier of First Flight for xylophone and piano.

Had a fantastic three weeks at the Mostly Modern Festival!

Lots of music, awesome people, new composers to discover, future chamber music projects to dream about, and many wonderful memories made.

As a Production Intern, I worked on countless events throughout the festival (a lot! 😅), learned so much, and even ended up receiving an award.

What more could you ask for?

Oh, and squirrels everywhere around the Skidmore College campus, keeping us entertained along the way. 🐿️❤️🎶

Thank you to the @mostlymodernfestival and everyone who made these three weeks such a fantastic experience.
Special thanks to @lindseyjgoodman for her guidance, kindness, and for all the flunches, flinners, and thoughtful conversations that helped the flute studio connect so naturally.

I came back home inspired, grateful, and with many new friends and musical memories.

Mostly Modern Festival + a little detour.

Three weeks feels so short when surrounded by wonderful music, amazing colleagues, and new friends. Thanks to the wonderful admins of @mostlymodernfestival for creating this opportunity and bringing all these amazing musicians together!

MMF round 4 in the books!

So thankful for another great summer with some amazing musicians and fellow percussion friends. It’s always tough to choose between coming to mostly modern festival or going home to see my family, and I’m grateful for the wonderful music and amazing camaraderie that this festival provides every time. While this may very likely be my last time visiting, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for this wonderful festival and saratoga will forever feel like a second home to me.

Our Spring Benefit, A Musical Feast, was such an inspiring and unforgettable evening. Together, we celebrated a sold-out event, honored our dear friend Joe Rose, and raised more than $300,000 to support The Knights’ mission to transform the orchestral experience.

The evening brought together extraordinary music, food, and conversation in true Knightsian spirit: with live culinary demonstrations by Chef J. Kenji López-Alt and moving performances by Tessa Lark, Gabriel Kahane, and The Knights. We're so grateful for the chance to share it all with you, and we're looking forward to the adventures ahead.

Feelings Alert! 🚨 As I sat playing our final @theknightsnyc German tour performance of Appalachian Spring last night, I felt myself well up (danger! a true danger while playing that miracle of a flute part!)…thinking to myself, not only do I get to do what I love and always dreamed of doing, but I get to do it with people who I truly love. I continue to learn so much from all of you, and I’m so honored that we get to grow together in this life. Yay to be high in the air, riding fast towards home, full of music and good memories (and jokes and so many chips) ❤️
