A gathering place for the arts and culture in Joseph, Oregon

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thrilled and very flustered to have been awarded Best in Show at the 43rd Annual Wallowa Valley Arts Festival for my piece, “We All Come Home.” Thank you to all involved with the Josephy Center and to everyone that sees the show for themselves~ absolutely worth the trip.

@josephycenter -from beautiful local art and hands-on classes to live events and rich Wallowa County history, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. Be sure to stop in while you’re visiting town—you never know what inspiring thing you’ll discover.

Yesterday I spent the day with this wonderful group of women in Joseph Oregon creating barn owl faces at @josephycenter and honestly I can’t think of a better way to spend Mother’s Day weekend.

A room full of women laughing, creating, encouraging each other, occasionally threatening to throw their owl across the room, and somehow all leaving with beautiful pieces anyway.

Also I can confirm wool travels home with you. On your clothes. In your car. Possibly in your coffee.

Happy Mother’s Day to women in all walks of life. Hope you found at least a little time this weekend to do something for yourself too.
