Since being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, @josh.malin has been a huge inspiration to me, showing me what is possible, and that there are no barriers to hold me back, and that there are no limits to chasing your goals.
Back in October 2023, Josh raced this iconic ‘Pink Pig’ liveried Porsche at the Brands Hatch season finale of the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, taking home an impressive 3rd and 2nd place across the two races.
When @ixo_modelcars released this stunning 1:18 scale model, I knew I had to add it to my collection. To make it even more special, Josh kindly signed it for me at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.
It’s more than just a model car—it’s a reminder that with determination, anything is possible. Thank you, Josh! 🩵🏎️

Today marks 5 years since I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just 12 years old. My parents driving me to hospital while I was in DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) because an ambulance wouldn’t have reached me in time. At that age, I didn’t fully understand what the diagnosis meant or how much my life was about to change.
The care I received from @sashcharity was incredible, and while my parents knew my childhood would look different from that moment on, I’ve never let diabetes stop me from doing what I love.
So many people have helped me along the way. Paul O’Neill @owy29 , for convincing me that wearing a CGM would be a game changer when I was nervous about putting one on my arm. @josh.malin , for being someone I could look up to as a racer and showing me that I could achieve my goals too. @simmotorsportuk , for believing in my talent, honing my skills, and helping me on the journey towards gaining my ARDS licence and getting out on track.
A huge thank you also to @dexcomukie and @omnipoduk for creating technology that helps me stay in control and live life as normally as possible.
But my biggest thanks goes to my parents, especially my mum. For every sleepless night, every worry, every appointment, and every bit of support over the last five years—I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.
Here’s to 5 years stronger. 💙 #T1D #Diaversary #dexcomwarrior #omnipodsquad #type1warrior

Manual. Rear-wheel drive. No distractions.

The 911 Carrera T strips away the unnecessary and doubles down on what matters: balance, precision, and connection. Lightweight by philosophy, engaging by nature, and built for those who choose the long way home.
