World championships 2026.

This year was a tough singles race but I’m really happy to have taken the men’s doubles title with my brother @josh_fenn10

All in all a great trip with lots learnt. Can’t wait for the next one.

The Backwater Ultra 2026

These pics hold such weighty, emotional, raw moments captured so well by @isabelakroon
This day was a story of canoeing, of people stepping up to more than they imagined. It was also of people stepping in and supporting each athlete. It was a story of camaraderie. I appreciated how much I love the people I share the water with.

I have 1 anecdote of this day. Hour 19, Rob Crichton fell off the group and was on his own for the loop, but 3 selfless men put their paddles down, and waited, to carry him through.

In February, I told Bev Manson I was keen for a paddling backyard ultra. He told me we could make it happen. He also told me if you do 24 hours, it’s 100 Miles - and that was that. From something I never thought I would do, to something I never thought I could do, to something I did do. The sum of all our experiences, how beautiful is this life🫶🏻
