“Anything that never breaks, was never meant to grow”, This is how I would phrase this season. I overcame a lot of injuries and had a couple visits to the trainers or the ER, but everytime I came back even stronger than the last. Competing Diving at OACs and breaking not one but 2 personal records shows that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Thank you @onuswimdive for this amazing season. Shoutout to @levifoussprod for some amazing action shots and photos of this experience. #diving #collegeathlete

“Trust in the lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” ( Proverbs 3:5-6)
If I had to explain this season in one word it would be adversity. This year in particular was the hardest for me mentally and physically in regard to swimming. I had multiple setbacks throughout the season and If you would have told me just over a month ago that I did all of this I would have never believed you at all because of my shoulder injury. Lastly, no matter what happens next year if I swim or not I just know it will be all apart of Gods plan.
