Exhausted and proud.

That’s how I feel after taking on what might’ve looked like “the impossible” from the outside. No coach, no structure, no team, just 100% trust in me and what I believed I could achieve. And I did.

Getting up at 4:45am to train before spending the rest of the day coaching, the hours of planning, stressing, and wondering if I was good enough. I now know the answer. With a spot in WC in slalom next year, all I could have asked for realistically, has been accomplished.

I’m forever grateful and indebted to every single person who has helped me this year. Anyone who told me not to give up, who gave me a place to stay, who offered training, who called when I was doubting myself, and who found a way to make this easier for me.

My sponsors who believed in me and took on this challenge with me, my old teammates and coaches that never made me feel like I was really alone.

Thank you to everyone who told me that what I was doing was impressive and gave me too much credit for everything.

With that being said, the season is over for me. My body and mind cannot take on one more run.

I love skiing, more than ever.

Coming into the first NorAm series as a fully independent athlete was intimidating… no coach, no team, just me and my goals.
What made it possible were the people who showed up for me: past coaches, old teammates, and the special individuals who make my dreams feel within reach.

The least stressful part of my season is being in the start gate and I can’t wait to do it again ❤️

Thank you @buckhillskiracingteam for all the amazing years! I'm forever grateful for the opportunity to ski as an athlete and to be a coach at Buck Hill. The last 16 years has made an a huge impact in my life as an athlete/coach and as a person. Thank you to all the current and former athletes, parents and coaches for the fun memories over all those years!

I like how God puts it in Ecclesiastes 3:6-7 “a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak.”

God made it very clear early on that there is a season for everything under the sun. There are good, bad, happy, sad, exiting and fun seasons in life but God's faithfulness remains. God will continue to be faithful as I end one season as a coach on Buck Hill to a new season somewhere else! God has a plan!

Thank you for the bottom of my heart ❤️
