10 years ago, I started knocking doors with a glimpse of a dream that we could build a massive region back home, outside of Utah, from scratch.

I genuinely thought at the time I knew how…

I most certainly did not. 😂

But through sheer will and belief, I found some incredible partners along the way who grabbed onto the vision.

We faced just about every setback imaginable—from uncontrollable pandemics to our own lack of experience leading us down dead ends.

Yet year after year, we just kept reloading and trying again.

After 10 years, we finally shattered through our goal and got to officially recognize @impact.shp as a region at the New York Regional Awards.

7,500 accounts in a single season. Totaling over $100 million in direct sales across the years.

That number is symbolic of hundreds of reps over a decade who, more often than not, leaned into the hard. Who embraced uncertainty, doubt, and anxiety—and collectively kept choosing to try again.

It represents an incalculable amount of support from spouses, loved ones, and families who endured years of sacrifice and time away from home. Shoutout @sarah.jane.thorne and my beautiful daughters ❤️

7,500 is proof that we kept our commitment to the vision.

More than that, though, it’s proof that we’re capable of the next one.

I started working at Vivint 14 years ago and part of what made me fall in love with this company was how it treated its sales force like rockstars. As a rookie rep, I remember watching the regional managers take trips to NYC and thinking how badly I wanted to be there someday.

That was always the magic of this place. It surrounded you with people doing big things and made you believe you could too. That belief pushed me to dream bigger, become more and surround myself with people who wanted the same. A lot of people have come and gone since then. A lot has changed since I started working here. And plenty have wondered if that magic is still here…

14 years later, I got to go to NYC as a regional manager, surrounded by some of the best people I know, celebrating a record-breaking year for the company, the division and my region. Full circle moment made me realize: The magic never left. And neither did we. #StillHere #BuildYourEmpire

Get silly with it 🤪

We didn’t start New Primitive to sell boxes with heaters in them. We started it because most of us haven’t sat in silence with our own thoughts in years, and heat is the oldest way humans have ever done that.

Owning the build means we control every joint, every board, every hour before a sauna ends up in someone’s backyard. It also means we get to show you the whole thing.
