I don't think any amount of words could do justice how life changing this summer was for me. I met so many amazing people and grew so much not only as a bass drummer but as a human being. It's been an honor and a privilege to be in front of such hardworking and passionate members and staff.

Thanks so much to everybody who has supported me through the years and helped me grow. Especially to anyone who came out to see me at a show/lot. It means more than you know ❤️

A special thank you to TRB for making this summer so special, I love each one of you so much.

i definitely needed some time to reflect on this season, because as the days get further away from when it ended, i only miss it more.

joining CC2 this past season was the best thing i've ever done for myself. not only did i get to meet some of the most amazing people in my life, but i learned more about myself. every day i'm thankful for experiencing all that i did.

most importantly, i am so incredibly grateful for being a part of the bass line. this being my first time ever marching bass was difficult, but to learn alongside the other 4 only made my desire stronger to become a better player. Landon, Robyn, Dyami, and Justin; i'm so proud of the progress we made from day one to finals, and i endlessly miss drumming all together.

i will forever cherish all the memories i made with those i marched alongside this past season, and thank you all for making it an enjoyable journey 🫶

Better late than never to make a recap post am I right?

This season meant the absolute world to me. Getting to march bass, while unexpected, was probably the best thing that could’ve happened to me, and I’m so incredibly thankful. This was probably the best first season of indoor anyone could have asked for. I hope to see everyone again next year… so until next time.

Even after all I’ve been through, I’m still here.

So much of my life was broken before I came here, and a huge part of it was broken to get here as well. I will never know if the decisions I made were correct. For now, I am at peace with the fact that I was able to break the cycle and do something for myself.

These have been the most fulfilling 6 months of teaching, learning, and performing of my life. Thank you Rayan, Garrett, Leland, Bryson, Dougie, Cristina, Millie, Ellie, Matthew, and Ayla for being such incredible students and even greater people. I am so endlessly proud of you all and your commitment to improving throughout this season.

Thank you Cap Bass for accepting me and pushing me to be my very best without exception. You all made somewhere I feared I may never belong feel so much like home. Thank you to my b4, Josh, in particular for standing by me this season. I hope one day I can truly express what your friendship did for me this winter, you will forever have a place in my heart my friend.

Thank you Cap City for believing in what I could be and not what I was when I walked in the door. So much about this group is special and I am forever grateful for the privilege that is being a small part of its story.

I miss my past immensely, I often find myself recalling what’s gone from me. Yet when I’m put to mind of all that I want to be, I have the will to fight for a future I must have.

I will never again hesitate to Move.

Audition for Cap City they said…
It would be fun they said…
They were right.

Cap City is the greatest place on earth the staff the members everybody. CC2 26 will be my favorite year of drumline ever. The emotions, the connections, the friendships were worth the 6 months of the grind. When I went into auditions I was terrified, I wanted to go home, luckily I stuck with it.
Being apart of the bassline was incredible and I am truly lucky to have marched with this line.
