The men in these photos are more than mates, fathers, and role models. They’re the people who have stood beside me through every chapter of my life.

I’ve laughed with them, struggled with them, grown with them, and leaned on them more times than I can count.

In my years on this planet, I’ve experienced wins, losses, setbacks, and breakthroughs but through all of it, they’ve never left my corner.

As life moves on, we don’t see each other as often as we used to. But when we do, it means more than it did before. The silence between catch ups doesn’t weaken the bond, it just makes the moments together hit harder.

Male friendship is simple, but never shallow. And when it’s real, it lasts.

This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m reminded how much it matters to have people who don’t just stand with you in the good times but stay with you through everything.

I speak often about the women in my life, but in honour of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, I want to take a moment for the incredible men I’m lucky enough to know.

Every man in these photos is someone I’m proud to call a close friend, but this message extends to all of my guy friends. Even the ones who hate photos lol. Which feels pretty special in a world where disliking the opposite gender sometimes feels more normalised than appreciating each other.

We’ve smiled, laughed, cried, grieved the loss of friends, celebrated birthdays, and grown through so many seasons of life together. As the years go on, life gets busier, the hangouts become less frequent, and everyone finds their own path. But somehow, every time we’re back, it feels like no time has passed at all.

There’s something really beautiful about male friendships. They’re often simple, steady, and quietly loyal. And while a lot of men carry more than they ever let on, I hope you all know I’ll sit and talk with you again and again on your best days, your worst days, the days you don’t want to talk at all, and the days you just want to laugh. Because every one of you has done the same for me.

Whether you realise it or not, you’ve all helped shape the person I am today. You’ve supported me, challenged me, picked me up when I needed it, and reminded me what true friendship looks like. In your own ways, you’ve all saved me, and I’ll never spend a day ungrateful for that.
To all the men in my life, thank you. Check in on your mates, let them check in on you, and remember that you don’t have to carry everything alone.
