Lurcher grew from a poem my wife wrote and has had many forms in its sonic-shape-shifting. It finds its place in this single, produced by the incredible @joshingledew , and defines a new sound for me. I can’t wait for you to hear it.

The making of Thank God…

The original demo was recorded by the amazing @roccojay_ during our time at uni. Big thank you to Rocco for your role in this song <3

Those original stems were then used in the final version, out on Friday.

Final song produced and mixed by the amazing @joshingledew at Blank Studios <3

Our first and final album No Funeral, recorded at @blankstudios , is out on streaming this week. It's out now on streaming and on Bandcamp if you are feeling generous. 6 of our greatest hits all wrapped up in a nice bow. Special thank you to @joshingledew for producing, mixing, and mastering this bad boy. I think you'll agree it's the greatest album to ever exist, we are very proud of what we've put together here.

Thank you to:
Sinead @shart_neader for the incredible artwork.
Jay @jaysebmusic , Ollie @ollie.soc , Elle @ellereid2002 for their percussion work on Mr Worldwide.
Ewan @ewan__goddard for his trumpets on Mr Worldwide.
Eleanor @eleanorrfaye for her percussion performances on American Town and Mr Worldwide.
And of course, founding member of Silk Road Tom Dodds (off the grid) for letting us borrow his mandolin.

ruin is out at midnight 🕛🥀

i have been dyyyyyying to share this with u since we recorded it last october in chilly chilly new york <3

i wrote ruin last summer, initially about how much i hate horror films but then also about self sabotage, and how scary trusting people can be when you’re not 100% sure they have your best interests at heart 🤡🕸️

that being said, when i listen to ruin i also think about the lush experience we had making it and how mental it is that this was our view when we took a lunch break

thank you to everyone involved but especially to @paperfairy_music whose brain is HUGE and i’m really obsessed with what we made together!

& thx @antisocialcamp for introducing us ur real ones

me in the lift on the way up to the studio #candid #unposed #newyorklocal #carriebradshaw

enjoy the song she’s out at MIDNIGHT :3

Here’s a new piece of music from me — Greets You.

The first sound I’ve made in 7 years.

A reflective piece that gives you a bit of space, and a free poem.

Premiered by @chancemarshall at his Talks Tent gathering @weoutherefest next weekend.

Embellished by @jamesleonardhewitson’s seductive trumpet.

Mixed, mastered and made better by @joshingledew @blankstudios.

Visuals by habibi.

Proceeds from (any?) sales to @pyramid_arts, so they can continue to offer art to people.

Stream and support on @bandcamp (recommended), @spotify, @youtube and @itunes_store — all via the link on my page.

The last few weeks of getting back into playing have been a whole load of fun: warming people up before and keeping them warm after @thestreetsofficial__ @liveatkirkstallabbey at @melodieseventyone; taking to the airwaves with @gj_ando on @strandedfm on Friday; a couple of very fun private gigs for friends; and working on a special new release (Greets You) and mix for @chancemarshall’s slot at @weoutherefest, with the help of @jamesleonardhewitson @joshingledew.

Track IDs: Betamax @edmondsonandon x Lost in Time by Lumi (Darco remix).
