With music icons Ms. Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu having been formally photographed together for the first time by @outlandermagazine, marking a historic moment for contemporary music, here’s some BTS by @joshkarpf

The historic feature brought together two defining voices of hip-hop and neo-soul, whose artistry and influence have shaped generations.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated production team transformed a field in Milton Keynes into the setting for the shoot, capturing these extraordinary images at 1am, immediately after Hill and Badu delivered their legendary performances at the Diaspora Calling! Festival.
