Today, I got to participate in Falmouth Dance Academy’s 35th Annual Recital, celebrating 35 years of dance with a surprise alumni routine!
.
The day was filled with so much joy, excitement, and nostalgia!.
.
It feels like just yesterday we were doing quick changes in the hallway, changing tights and hair for different costumes, and getting excited back stage to “Strut” 👀😏 our stuff!
.
It was fun to relive the memories and precious moments through the years and to of course hear Kim’s starter story from different perspectives!
.
Today, I heard a new one… about how Kim met her husband and it reminds me of me and Joshy where dance is always the focal point of life!
.
Miss Kim, you have been such a beautiful influence in my life and dance life, your creativity is so fun to watch! And now having a studio of my own (turning 15 years this September) I really appreciate ALL the little details!!!

Happy 35th!!!

The day you told me you loved me 7 years ago. Embraced in a hug for over 3 hours, we watched the night turn to light and I said I loved you back 💛 3 days later we had our first kiss. This story still wows me.

Walking the streets in Italy you can imagine not everyone speaks/reads English so the real highlight was people coming up and reading our banners saying in various accents “she said yes” and then giving respective acclamations and celebrations from their countries!… and obviously dancing because that’s always highlight.

This was a truly incredible way to close out last season. Trophy Wives had the opportunity to capture a magical wedding weekend in Hawaii. April 7, 2019 is the first day Joshy and I started working together as a unique team of dancer and videographer (something I manifested 😉 , more on this later). I remember when I started falling for him I was nervous because of what “they” say… “don’t get involved with someone you work with 🤭

we didn’t listen

Now seven years later and newly engaged our workversary has a deeper meaning.

I love you my sweet Joshy!

So happy I get to do life with you AND we get to fuse our creative passions together.
