The off-season is your opportunity to build the athlete you want to become next season.

Over the past 4 years, I’ve had the opportunity to train 40+ junior golfers and help them develop the strength, power, mobility, and speed needed to take their game to the next level.

The results speak for themselves:

🏆 2023 Colorado State Champion
🏆 2025 CGA Junior State Champion
🎓 6 athletes have gone on to play Division 1 golf
💨 Athletes average a 5–7 MPH increase in clubhead speed

My Junior Golf Off-Season Training Group is designed to help golfers build speed, strength, power, and durability during the months when they have the most opportunity to improve physically.

Don’t wait until the season starts to get ready.

Build now. Perform later.

📩 DM me “GOLF” for details on the upcoming group.

First VALDCON in the books. Letting it all soak in. Feeling a combination of exhausted, inspired and ready to take off 🚀

Incredible experience, energy and people. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of this company that values relationships, growth, excellence and innovation at the highest levels. We also know how to have fun and throw a hell of a party to celebrate one another.

Until next time, AUS 🫶🏼🇦🇺

It’s understated how much I value this team and in-person events with them. Since I’ll be missing VALDcon this year, I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to gather in Charlotte with a small portion of the team (yes, there’s lots of us missing here - biiiiig VALD coverage over North America) 🧡

How great it is to be surrounded by colleagues with similar (but also so different) mindsets. Peek at the workouts we got done throughout the week - shoutout to my workout buddies 💪🏼 Still catching up on sleep but how fun is it to workout with a buddy?!

Extra shoutout to the best team out there: west coast best coast aka the wild wilddd west 🤠

I’ll miss you all in Aus but thanks for a wonderful week pushing the needle forward! 📈

Awesome week with the North American VALD crew. 🙌🌎

We spend so much time on video calls that it’s easy to forget how valuable it is to actually get everyone together in person. It was great catching up with teammates from across the U.S. and Canada, talking sport science, sharing ideas, planning for the year ahead, and spending time together outside of work. 🧠📊

The conversations were great, the pickleball got surprisingly competitive, and I’m leaving with a lot of new ideas to bring back to my territory. 🏓😂

Grateful for the team and already looking forward to the next one. 💪

Please forgive me if I forgot to tag you 😅

🌟 The best rehabilitation and performance programs have one thing in common: they start by identifying what's actually limiting the athlete. Whether an athlete is recovering from an injury, managing pain, returning to sport, or looking to improve performance, our process begins with understanding the entire athlete—not just the injury or symptom.

📊 Using tools such as VALD ForceDecks, NordBord, and SpeedGate, along with comprehensive movement, strength, and performance assessments, we identify asymmetries, force deficits, mobility limitations, and movement inefficiencies that may be limiting performance or contributing to injury risk. Rather than simply treating symptoms, we work to identify the underlying factors affecting how an athlete moves and performs.

🏃 Our athletes also have access to advanced treatment and recovery technologies including Class IV Deep Laser Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, ARPwave Neuro Therapy, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training, recovery services, and ongoing performance testing. These tools allow us to support healing, improve tissue capacity, accelerate recovery, and help athletes return to activity with greater confidence.

👉 What truly sets Fick PT & Performance apart is that we don't view rehabilitation, performance, and recovery as separate services. They are all part of the same system. Whether an athlete is recovering from an injury, returning to competition, or striving to reach the next level of performance, every step of the process is designed to build long-term health, resilience, and success.

❗Our goal isn't simply to help athletes get out of pain. Our goal is to help them recover completely, move efficiently, perform at a higher level, and stay in their sport for the long term.

A great day this weekend at The Practitioners Summit at NSCA Headquarters. An opportunity to share applied insights across performance and return to play focused themes with lots of open discussion between great bunch of practitioners in attendance.

Thanks to the speakers who each presented high quality insights from their environments.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁!

👉 At Fick PT & Performance, we use VALD SpeedGate system to objectively assess return-to-sport readiness.

𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 👇

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲:
✔️ Acceleration (how quickly you can get up to speed)
✔️ Max velocity (your top-end speed)
✔️ Split times (how you perform through each phase of a sprint)

This gives us real data—not estimates—on how your body is performing.

❗But more importantly…

We can identify asymmetries and deficits that aren’t visible to the eye.

👉 You might feel fast—but still be compensating
👉 You might be pain-free—but not producing force evenly
👉 You might be cleared—but not ready for game speed

And that’s where reinjuries happen.

💫 Return to sport isn’t just about moving again. It’s about performing at full speed, under control, without limitation.

Objective testing removes the guesswork and gives you a clear path forward.

👉 Schedule your assessment at Fick PT & Performance and see where you stand.

New Tech!!!

Stoked to get a ForceFrame Max in the door!! This will allow us to streamline and more efficiently run the assessments we already have in place as well as add in a few more…

Maybe the biggest draw is Vald’s new Training Mode. Training Mode gives us application outside of the assessments as we can train the muscles we’re testing in both PT & Training Sessions!
