🚨FC Pontiac Men’s Team is proud to confirm its first four additions for the summer squad ⚽️🔥

Delighted to welcome back Josh Rubin, who was outstanding for us last year at the heart of the backline and a true leader . He’s joined by three of his former teammates, and all four come off fantastic careers at Saginaw Valley State University

They bring a real winning mentality, experience at a high level, and the values that define FC Pontiac, setting the tone for the summer and helping drive the group forward.

Everyone give a big hello to Josh Rubin!

Rubin has been coaching with Coerver for the past two years, where he focuses on developing players’ technical skills, confidence, and creativity. He aims to help players build a strong connection with the ball and enjoy the game while putting in the work to improve.

As a player, Rubin competed at Saginaw Valley State University, where he earned the honor of being named team captain in his final year — a reflection of his leadership, commitment, and impact on and off the field.

His favorite team is Chelsea FC, and he draws inspiration from his favorite player, Fernando Torres — a world-class striker known for his explosive pace, sharp movement, and clinical finishing. Torres made his mark at clubs like Atlético Madrid, Liverpool, and Chelsea, and was a key figure in Spain’s golden era of international dominance.

Coach Josh’s philosophy is rooted in joy, effort, and development:
“Coaching Coerver, I want to help players develop on the field and fall in love with the ball at their feet — all while having fun and working hard!”
