Summer Smackdown ‘25🥈😼

Watching the 2022 Smackdown finals at Columbia was what really kicked off my passion for competition climbing. 3 years later I’m on the same stage and able to sweep the podium with the @team_gorilla_style crew (for the second year in a row🤯). TGS is leveling 🆙‼️

Congrats to @t_benzing for the W & @_thechanimal_ for training such an amazing and loving team 🦍💨

Thank you to the awesome setting team and everyone who came out to watch and support. It meant a lot and I’m glad I could put on a good show🔥❤️

Fall training starts 🍂🔜

Skin is rough during winter and I got another 2 splits. Only 8 sends this time but I'm happy I got some tough ones. 17 left! Hopefully I get them in 6-ish sessions since I'm sure some will take me a while

Footage crusty because I used front camera 😭 Here is the next batch of V6 benchmarks (Forgot to film one of them so 15 total minus 1). The software for the lights was wack and a lot of them cut out.

Thank you to everyone who has stood in my corner this past year to help me grow as both a routesetter and a climber. I am a lucky gal 🫶🏼

Just wrapped up an amazing Level 2 USA Climbing clinic! Huge thanks to John and Sarah for teaching the event.

Shoutout to all the other participants—I learned so much from each of you, especially about effective communication in routesetting.

Feeling super inspired and excited to apply everything I’ve learned as I continue setting more comps.

Every route has a process from imagination to creation. Dozens of factors are involved from hold choices, desired movement, trial and error, tweaks and changes to arrive at the final product for the people!
