THE WORK BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE

Behind every beautifully plated dish is a story of preparation, precision and trust.

I’ll never take for granted the clients who invite me into their homes, their celebrations and some of life’s most meaningful moments and trust me to create an experience around their table.

This is a little glimpse behind the scenes of what it takes to bring it all to life. Forever grateful to do what I love, alongside an incredible team, for people who truly value the craft.

Thank you for trusting me with your moments. 💙

Please DM or send me an email to book your next event.

My dad passed away on New Year's Eve, the very last night of 2025 after a year in and out of the hospital.

I'd already signed up for Around the Bay 15K months before. When I told my family I was getting back into distance running, dad said we should make a party of the day. Even though he was sick and feeling awful, he still wanted to celebrate with me when I finished.

One of my favourite memories with him was the end of my first marathon in 2018. In tears, he gave me a huge hug at the finish line. During that once-in-a-lifetime bear hug, he told me he was proud of me. He said it often, but that one was extra special, and it will be in my heart for the rest of my living days.

With his passing, I wanted to drop out of the race. I didn't want to think about a finish line without him waiting for me. But, as my family ate lasagna from loving neighbors, sorted old photos, laughed and cried over the beautiful life dad lived, I understood that he wouldn't ever want me to give up.

So I dug into grief and I trained. On every single run, he crossed my mind. On every tough hill I pictured him standing with family and friends, cheering and whistling in his signature red sweater.

I ran the race on Sunday and had more fun than I've had in any other race. It was the party dad wanted me to have. The finish was a storm of everything. I was so happy and I was so heartbroken. My dad wasn't there, but I know his love was.
