We spent the off season days thinking and while we reflected, we accepted,
that half of the opinions coming our way were rooted in resentment.
We were infront of your face all year, But you chose to neglect it.
The more milestones we reached, The more people disrespected.
They tried to say we were too young, Hating on how we 5 were connected.
Predicted our downfall every step of the way & when we succeeded they acted like it was expected.
We ignored the noise,
They said the 5 was nonchalant bc we never would address it,
Why would we shed light on rage bait and misdirection?
We’d rather be the reason that you stand corrected.
Staring at the IHSA trophy,
our only competition is the 5 in the reflection..

“Everytime I think of you, I give thank to my God” -Philippians 1:3 . From one bunk away, to being several states away, you’ll always be my lifelong best friend. Because if in a different life we weren’t sisters, we would somehow always find our way back to eachother. To new beginnings and new members of the family 💍💞
