“The Revolution Is About To Be Televised. You Picked The Right Time, But The Wrong Guy”.. @kendricklamar

We live in a time where we have the power of journalism in our hands, pockets and screens. This is an opportunity for all of us to keep the dream alive, especially for all of those who paved the way for us today. We do need this energy in 2026, who’s down for the movement?

S/o to @publicstatementapparel for being a real one. Stop by @solefolks to pick up a sweater!!

We’re gearing up for the Black Panther Party’s 60th anniversary celebration in Oakland next weekend!! It’s finna be a movement. Link in @bpp60th bio for more info!

The legacy of the Black Panther Party is STRONG in LA. ✊🏾

We hit the streets of Leimert Park to spread the word about the Black Panther Party’s 60th Anniversary, and the love we received was incredible 🥹

So many people stopped to talk, share stories, grab information, help us put up posters, and tell us what the Panthers and their legacy mean to them.

The official celebration may be happening in Oakland, but the connection runs deep here in Los Angeles. That history is still alive. People care about preserving it, learning from it, and making sure the legacy continues into the next generation 👏🏾👑

Now it’s time to come together.

Join us in Oakland, October 15–18, as we celebrate 60 years of history, community, culture, and legacy alongside a community of people committed to carrying that work forward.

Thank you to everyone who showed us love, everyone who helped make this video happen, and every business that opened its doors and let us share a poster. 🖤

feeling such love and gratitude this birthday. this year was so incredibly challenging and confusing but also so warm with love from my friends, family, and community who reminded that i never have to carry the heaviness alone.

so while this is “my” day, i want to celebrate the people who have graced me with their love, teaching me what it is to love and be loved. thank u for being there. your presence is a gift and i love you so much ♥️

Celebrating these lovely moments, the ones not captured on camera, and the many more to come <3
