A year ago today, we celebrated the best day of our lives. We got married in Costa Rica with 35 of our closest friends and family. It was a dream!

With the exception of a hurricane and cancelled wedding of course, iykyk.

But on a real note, there is no doubt God had his hands all over it— our wedding was completely able to be rescheduled for three days later— with it being the first dry day Costa Rica had had after the rainy season in months. The day ended up being PERFECT. We couldn’t be more grateful for our village willing to make the trip with us.

Ps: We figured our first year anniversary was better late than never to share our favorite memories lol.

Training always gives a sense of accomplishment but when you get to do it with your kids, it gives purpose. Being an example to them comes in more than one category as a parent. About this time 21 yrs ago I was having my first baby boy..... if there is such a thing as good labor... he was it. And he’s been easy ever since. Our first baby boy turns the real 21 today. From the get go, he’s been entertaining, a dare devil, humorous (w anything but esp his perspective), easily entertained, super curious, free spirited with a heart beyond compare that he tends to hide at times and got the good looks of stellar proportions. You’re welcome btw 😀. Where he once clung to my leg, would Never leave my side and looked for forgiveness rather than permission 😂 saw everything with wild wonder.... I now stand by and watch him in wonder at that same sweet hearted spirit guide him through this Willy Wonka life. I love watching his entrepreneurial ideas being worked out and I love that he’s mine.
