Around the second week of September, our barri celebrates Les Festes de Poblenou: ten days of concerts, activities, children in the streets and neighbours coming together. We wanted to do our own little Sopar Popular at the Estudio, so we invited our friends, family and neighbours (& with a plate as the invitation !!!) Bring it along, and you had a seat at the table. With the help of @serigrafias.tort (shoutout to @eddhoods for making our crazy ideas happen), we printed the invitations and handed them out around the neighbourhood. Then came the dinner: a shared table, starters brought by everyone, and arroces by our good friend Santi @s6nti We even made everyone sew to discover what was hiding inside their napkin (spoiler: it was Kata, of course) Then the neighbourhood band marched right past us. Our Sopar suddenly became a little more special, and a lot more Popular. We ate, talked, laughed, danced, sewed and drank. Just a table, a few good people, and a reason to bring everyone together. We chose our people well. See you next year around the table, amics. Horacio & Ona

COPA STAR 50 - a shoe that I designed together with my amazing team for @adidas x @relab collab. The goal of the project was to combine a football icon (Copa Mundial) with a pop culture icon (Superstar). The Copa Mundial’s leather upper was printed with a previously scanned design from the Superstar. The print is deliberately off-center, highlighting aspects of both models based on this imperfection, as well as the multi-layered nature of the design. It’s in the RELAB brand’s spirit to treat imperfections as aesthetic value. The sole comes from the F-50 model – a transparent sole that houses the sole of a football boot. This is how the COPA STAR 50 was created.

On July 2, a launch party took place in Warsaw, Poland.
