7 days / 7 photos ❤️ @strava saw it first 😍

7 days across 186km, 7813m elevation gain (yes, I'm going to repeat these numbers until the day I die 🤌)

Might of been dying the entire time but did my damn best with the relentless heat and closed water points ⭐

Stage 1 - Les Houches > Les Contamines
Stage 2 - Les Contamines > La Gittaz
Stage 3 - La Gittaz > Courmayeur
Stage 4 - Courmayeur > Val Ferret
Stage 5 - Val Ferret > La Fouly
Stage 6 - La Fouly > Trient
Stage 7 - Trient > Les Houches

Apparently I don’t post on here often enough, so here’s a catch up of my favourite shoots in the last 12 months.

MCF Snowdon 2026 ⛰️💙 @mouthcancer

What a day. 23 people to the summit and safely back down in some seriously grim conditions — and between us, we’ve raised close to £7,000 for the Mouth Cancer Foundation.

The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a charity very close to my heart. After my dad was diagnosed with mouth cancer in 2022, I wanted to use my love of the mountains to do something positive and help raise awareness for the charity. That led to my Mera Peak expedition last year, and now to becoming an Ambassador for the Foundation.

So to lead the Foundation’s first Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) challenge, with 23 people joining me on the mountain, was pretty special. It was also my first outing as an Ambassador, so I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start.

A huge thank you to Joss @flossjoss , the current President, and Mahesh, the former President, for coming along and supporting the event. Thanks also to Liz & Laura for all the work behind the scenes, and to Mick @summit_mountain_skills for his support and for being the most overqualified Mountain Leader assistant ever 😂

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along, battled through the conditions and kept the morale high all day. You all absolutely smashed it.

Already looking forward to the next one 🏔️

One of our goals was to create awareness, because the world needs it.

Skill Development

Technology is a convenience, not a contingency.

When signal drops, batteries die, and weather turns across Eryri, the Cairngorms, or the Lakes, true mountain freedom comes down to one thing: uncompromising self-reliance.

If you are ready to push past marked trails, GPS dependency behind, and operate in the UK’s wilder spaces, you need skills that don't fail when technology does.

As a veteran-owned mountaineering company, we don't teach shortcuts; we build disciplined, field-tested independence.

Micro-Navigation: Map and compass mastery, contour reading, and relocation strategies.

Camp Craft: kit selection, remote site management, and operating efficiently under harsh weather.

Emergency Extraction: Casualty management, self-evacuation strategies, and mountain protocol when rescue is far away.

DM to learn more about our expedition and Mountain Independence opportunities.

Years ago when I started jumping 4000m peaks Mathias and I had a conversation, talking about the limited opportunity of opening new 4000m peaks in the Alps. Turns out there is still plenty out there to jump, especially with the new school way of doing things courtesy of Jacob.
Single push from the valley floor, car to exit in 6 hours. New exit on the Bishorn. Great mission with.
