POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

For the past five years, I had the opportunity to grow at the label that helped raised me, RCA Records. Along the way, BET became my playground—a place where I was trusted to build, create, and cultivate relationships that turned into family.

As my final BET Awards weekend leading the charge for RCA, I couldn’t have asked for a better ending: 23 label nominations, five main stage performances, and a BET Experience performance.

Watching both Tems and kwn have the weekends they did was incredibly special. Huge thank you to @kayynicole__ & @akaceecee for trusting me & Sam to pitch & help bring these moments across the finish line.

Last summer, I brought @kwnway into the BET office and confidently said she’d be on that stage and all over BET Awards weekend the following year. We meant every word. A year later, watching her make her U.S. television debut was such a full-circle moment

To my BET family- @breezemj1 @ashle_mitchell @ekthemogul @pennyescobar @silvasoundz & many others, thank you for always holding me down throughout my journey at RCA!

To my fearless boss, mentor, and OG @samthehypebeast & my amazing team @norjonnn & @therealcharita, LOVE YALL FOREVER ❤️

Culture can’t be taught. It has to be lived, nurtured, and protected. Moments like this are proof!

Micky Dee is Out ✌🏾 Looking forward to the next chapter & awards seasons to come!
