I can’t let the year go without sharing one of the most special bridal projects I worked on. This bride came to me with the vision of a lightweight, draped gown with a twist for her destination beach wedding. She wanted a pop of color that complimented the colors of the summer sunset. After selecting white silk chiffon to blow in the wind, and the perfect orange lace, we had several muslin fittings that perfected the fit, as well as the drape. Combining the structure of the foundation layer and the softness of the outer layers was definitely a challenge, but outcome was everything 🤍💍🧡 This project was special because the mother of the bride was one of my elementary school teachers, Ms Bell back then. Besides being an amazing teacher, we all loved her for being so stylish and beautiful. I was truly honored to have been the one to lend the gift that was nurtured during my youngest years at Transy, to a member of the Transy family.
