It’s been an amazing week filled with lots of sun, laughs, hugs, sweat, and lots of cheering!📣 so proud to be part of the @coeursports team and having the chance to support the teammates who took on the @2025ironmanworldchampionship #resilience was the theme of the race this year and that proved to be a very accurate theme for the day.
The day of the race I volunteered at Body Marking and Transition Tent. I truly enjoyed being in the transition tent helping the racers cool down, find things in their bags, give high5s and hugs, as well as talking with many of them hoping to ground their emotions going into the run. It was especially fun to help as many of the @coeurcommunity gals.

It was a 30’s kind of weekend. Finally caught a glimpse of a Kīlauea fountaining episode (episode 33), Ka’u Coffee race 50k (31 miles), and weekend shenanigans with the gang, in the final two months of being in my dirty 30’s. Also took lots of goofy photos of nene #kilaueavolcano #halemaumau #kaucoffeetrailrun

Swimming takes a village especially at the @waikikiroughwaterswim, super fast day swimming with (behind!!) @flightdoc01 who rather than dropping me on the run up the beach reached out so we could finish together, mahalo Bruce for the years and miles of training and racing together you have kept me strong and honest, an amazing teammate and friend. B team MVP of the day goes to @scott_bradley_hawaii left us all behind in his bubbles coming out of the water with an hour+ PR!! So much appreciation always to Mike for keeping the pre-race shuttle and post-race Dairy Queen traditions alive and well 🍦. Congrats to my colleagues at UH who keep pushing and testing their limits in the water!! Thank you to our coaches @jen.lisius and @power.swim.steve for getting us prepared for an incredible summer of swimming at @uhmasters, to our board, organizing committee, and volunteers at the @waikikiroughwaterswim, mahalo plenty, see everyone in 2026!! 🙌🏼
