She almost deleted the video that helped her find her niche.

When Joy Olinya Onyinyechi began taking content creation seriously in 2025, she was still figuring things out. Then came a 30-day challenge, a broken phone screen, an illness, and a video she wasn’t even sure she wanted people to see, she posted it anyway.

That video attracted an audience interested in her style and helped her recognise the direction she could build around. Today, Joy is still learning, growing, and working towards her goals, with a focus on consistency and building a strong community. Her journey isn’t over, but this moment became an important part of it.
