GGBP Through my eyes 🥹

I can’t tell the story of my year abroad without including GGBP. What started as an idea to throw parties in our accommodation turned into an amazing community. From house parties to full clubs, rooftops, trams, saunas and lakes. From Goteborg to Rotterdam to somewhere more 👀. It’s been amazing watching this community grow.

I’ve been lucky to have been there from the start casually recording the events to being woven into everything happening behind the decks. I’m so lucky to have been so close to so many DJs, watching them grow doing what they love.

Had to use the original sound from the club for this one “Thank You for the Music” playing in that moment is one of my core memories 💜

THANK YOU so much for the Colours of Being SustainabilityDay - there were so many impressions, high quality conversations, fun interactions (both with the people AND the topic), we are left with gratitude to you dear community for showing up, asking the hard questions, being open with each other, and challenging norms; pointing out the Elephants in the Room 🐘🍑

Thanks go to @laisspagnol for showing up even before the day started to help with set-up and helping us make the day go by smoothly. Laurence from Sense in Nature for welcoming us in the morning and guiding us back to where sustainability comes from. @devansh3110 for making sure we were nourished with good drinks and salad we had with @gbgboxen. Our panelist’s @vartsweden @prith467789 @devansh3110 for stimulating our minds, bringing important perspectives into the room. @swannocean for moderating, spreading the word around Gothenburg, and the creative development of the day.

And most of all: ALL OF YOU who participated and shared your views, thoughts, and banter hehe. Thanks for bringing this place to life.

🌱💚 We just wanted to let you know that the Registration for the SustainabilityDay closes TOMORROW.
// That's this Friday 17/04 at 5pm.

Why are we saying that? Because we want to hang out with you, AND we know that humans tend to sign up at the last minute (no shame) — which can be challenging for event organisers of small events. For the SustainabilityDay there are only 20 spots available for each experience (less for Angle 1: NATURE, there it’s only 16) & your invitation still stands.

🔗 ALL THE INFO AND SIGN UP thecoloursofbeing.com/events/sustainability-day (link in bio)

Please RSVP and let us know what you will attend so that we can plan ie. the food and how many chairs to put out for the screening & panel discussion (which we need to know because depending on how many people come we will set up in a different room).

_________
ABOUT MONEY (because that's a valid point and we need to talk about it)

ANGLE 1 // Experience NATURE is valid for the wellness allowance from your employer (Friskvårdsbidrag)

ANGLE 2 // THE PANEL DISCUSSION IS **FREE** TO ATTEND

ANGLE 3 // Watch OUTGROW THE SYSTEM is a small investment

All tickets available on general price level and student/low-income level.
__________

Hope to see you there!

Much love,
Swan & Devansh from Colours of Being

The second angle of the Sustainability Day will be to DISCUSS CONSUMPTION during an interactive panel talk after lunch.

This is our collective exploration space, a bit like a town hall. We have panelists who bring knowledge and unique perspectives, AND we know sustainability is a topic where everyone has something to say. What are your thoughts?

Swan Hering moderates, with panelists Corina Anker, Alejandro Petrizzo, Devansh Mehta & Prithvesh Ashok.
🎙️ Recorded for the Colours of Being podcast.

ABOUT THE PANEL

SWAN is a coach, author, and founder of Colours of Being. Trained in solutions-focused coaching with a background in psychology and global health, she creates spaces where open, nuanced conversation can lead somewhere real.

CORINA is the founder of VÄRT — sustainable food lab — where she treats food as a tool for systemic change, rethinking waste and advocating for a farmer-led approach that eases pressure on agriculture and restores biodiversity.

ALEJANDRO'S background is in process operations engineering. His sustainability journey began with a master's in industrial ecology at Chalmers.

DEVANSH is an entrepreneur, engineer, and process designer driven by sustainability, co-operative business, and system design. He brings perspectives from the Global South and the West, grounded in agile development and systems thinking.

PRITHVESH is a graduate in industrial ecology whose path led from climate activism to nature conservation and Life Cycle Assessments. He believes climate change is as much a social issue as an environmental one.

🌿 COB Sustainability Day — Saturday 18 April -- THE PROGRAMME IS HERE

Join for an interactive day to look at sustainability from different angles.

We've put together a programme that moves through three angles — Nature, Consumption & Economy — because sustainability is a complex issue that deserves room to be contemplated from different perspectives. It lives in the connection between all of them.

— THE PROGRAMME —

🌿 Angle 1 — Nature | 10:00–11:30 | Trädgårdsföreningen (Entrance by Kungsportsplatsen)
A forest bath with Laurence Nachin. We begin outside, with our senses — reminding ourselves what we are part of.

🥗 Lunch & mingle | 12:00–13:00 | VÄRT
A shared meal. Room to land, meet, talk. Taste the newly launched @gbgboxen.

🍫 Angle 2 — Consumption & Food | 13:00–14:30 | VÄRT
And interactive panel: Food for Thought — Sustainability Beyond Definition

This is our collective exploration space, a bit like a town hall. We have panelists who bring knowledge and unique perspectives, AND we know sustainability is a topic where everyone has something to say. What are your thoughts?

@swannocean moderates, with panelists @corinaakner [@vartsweden], @devansh3110 , @prith467789 & @i_am_petri .
🎙️ Recorded for the Colours of Being podcast.

🎬 Angle 3 — Economy | 15:00–17:00 | VÄRT
Screening of Outgrow the System [@outgrow_the_system]+ open thought exchange. After experiencing this day together — how are we looking at sustainability now? We close with a round of "Creating Chances": space for the experiences of the day to ripple out into the world.

Come for one angle or stay for the whole day. Tickets available at all price points, including student/low income options — because access matters to us.
